Soft bed is a new kind of bed developed with the continuous improvement of people's living standards and the increasingly high requirements for sleep quality. With the rise and development of soft beds in mainland China, some enterprises began to study the scientific sleep field.

01 Common types of soft beds
There are many ways to classify soft beds, which are usually classified according to the different materials used in the market, such as leather soft beds, full leather soft beds, artificial leather soft beds, and cloth soft beds.
Leather soft bed: The front of the bed screen of the product is covered with natural animal leather, and other external surfaces can be covered with artificial materials or textile materials.
Full leather soft bed: The outer surface of the product is covered with natural animal leather.
Artificial leather soft bed: The main outer surface of the product is a soft bed covered with artificial leather.
Fabric soft bed: soft bed with wool, linen, fabric, chemical fiber or blended textile materials as the main outer surface of the product.
02 Material composition of soft bed
The frame constitutes the main structure and basic shape of the soft bed. Frame materials are mainly wood, steel, wood-based panels, medium density fiberboard, etc. Currently, medium density fiberboard is mainly used.
The padding plays a decisive role in the comfort of the soft bed. The traditional fillers are brown silk and spring. Now, the commonly used fillers are foamed plastics, sponges, synthetic materials, etc. with various functions.
The filler shall have good elasticity, fatigue resistance and long life. The load bearing and comfort requirements of fillers in different parts of the soft bed are different. The performance and price of fillers vary greatly.
The texture and color of the fabric determine the grade of the soft bed. At present, there are a variety of fabrics. With the progress of science and technology, there will be more and more varieties of fabrics.
03 How to identify the quality of soft bed material
Weight and thickness: the weight of the bed and the thickness and weight of the bottom box board. Because the thicker the bed and the bottom box board are, the greater the density of the internal material of the board. Consumers can learn and compare it by gently lifting the bed corner.
Listen to the sound: It can be knocked. Even if the paint is good, the sound of density board and solid wood particle board is absolutely different from that of solid wood. It feels light and empty.
Look at the back panel: The back panel surface of the soft bed must be well made. You can see the problem by looking at the back panel. The back panel of a well made soft bed is as delicate as the front panel.
Look at the bedside table: The soft bedside table is basically with drawers, and the ones on it are generally with rails, which can be taken out. Because the pull rail is screwed with holes, the actual material of the soft bed can be seen when the pull rail is pulled out.
04 Conventional process of soft bed
Main production process steps and flow of soft bed:
Batching process: Medium density fiberboard can be used as the material for the soft bed frame. Because the medium density fiberboard has the advantages of large breadth and high material yield, it is particularly significant for curved parts. In this process, clear and correct batching list, layout drawing and template for curved parts are the main measures for reasonable material use and improving work efficiency.
Assembly frame: the prepared plates, bending pieces and square materials are combined into a frame, and the bottom plate is sealed. The fasteners used for the soft bed frame shall be collected and summarized frequently, and the fastener information shall be selected skillfully, which can achieve twice the result with half the effort for assembling the frame.
Sponge preparation: Scribe and cut the sponge according to the specification and size required in the material list. For the sponge with complex shape that needs to be cut, the material layout sheet and template shall be attached for construction.
Paste the frame: nail elastic tape, gauze, thin or thick sponge on the frame to prepare for the skin rubbing process and reduce the workload of the skin rubbing process.
Jacket cutting: according to the requirements of the ingredient list, cut according to the sample. Natural leather sheets shall be inspected one by one to avoid scars and defects. The synthetic materials can be cut in layers by electric scissors, and the precious natural leather sheets can be reasonably used.
Assembly (skin touching): Assemble the pasted frame, processed inner and outer coats, various ornaments and accessories into a soft bed. The general process is to nail the inner sleeve on the frame with sponge, then put on the outer sleeve and fix it, then install the decorative parts, nail the bottom cloth and install feet.
Inspection and warehousing: products can be packaged and warehoused after passing the inspection
